UROGEN WELL D‐ONE
UROGEN WELL D‐ONE
- For p
resumptive diagnosis and antimicrobial susceptibility of most frequent microorganisms in vaginal exudate, urethra and seminal fluid.
System for the presumptive identification and antimicrobial susceptibility test of pathogenic urogenital bacteria. System composed of a polypropylene plate containing 32 conical wells for better viewing of the colorimetric reactions that occur as result of the growth of microorganisms in specially formulated media for selective culture of
:
Mycoplasma hominis / Ureaplasma spp.
Trichomonas vaginalis
Escherichia coli
Proteus spp./Providencia spp.
Pseudomonas spp.
Gardnerella vaginalis
Staphylococcus aureus
Enterococcus faecalis
Neisseria gonorrhoeae
Streptococcus agalactiae (Group B)
Candida spp.
Microbiological diagnosis can be confirmed by serological tests, traditional methods,
microscopic examination or culture of positive wells directly.
For the execution of the test, a sample dilution of: endocervical exudate, vaginal
exudate, urethral exudate, urine, seminal fluid, etc. is inoculated directly in the wells
plate. The tested sample is diluted in accordance with the procedure and inoculated
directly into the wells of the plate. Incubation is performed for 24 hours and readings
are taken visually without additional equipment.
The tested sample is diluted in accordance with the procedure and inoculated directly into the wells of the plate.Incubation is performed for 18-24-48 hours and readings are taken visually without additional equipment.
The results are evidenced by color changes that occur in wells according to reactions due to chemical or chromogenic components contained in specific formulations for each microorganism.
Presumptive identification and antimicrobial susceptibility give fast orientation about the agents causing the infectious process.

WELL D-ONE
: Improvement of diagnostics for microbiological infections. Plaques for identification of pathogenic microorganisms and study of susceptibility to antibiotics, designed to help the identification, with cut-off of sensitivity/resistance as a function of antimicrobials used more frequently in infections caused by agents most commonly isolated. They are produced by CPM SAS. All the products are
CE marked
in accordance with European Directive 98/79/EC. The CPM also obtained the certification
EN ISO 9001:2008
and
EN ISO 13485:2004
.
Microbiological diagnosis can be confirmed by serological tests, microscopic examination or culture of positive wells directly. The plate contains growth control wells and indicative wells that permit accelerated growth of other agents, for which serological diagnosis can be used, conventional or other available tests in the laboratory.
ADVANTAGES OF WELL D-ONE SYSTEMS:
No preparation or any culture medium required
Easy to use for technical staff of the laboratory
Quick results
Cheap system compared to the cost of the equipment of automated microbiology
Useful to implement the offer in the centers that want to offer important standard microbiological analysis
